FAQs - General

In your package information we show Download and Upload speed in megabits (Mb).

For example 3 Mb Download / 1 Mb Upload.

In your internet browser when you download the file speed is showed in megabytes, kilobytes (mB,kB).

For example 350 kB.(kilobytes)

It doesn't mean your speed is 10x slower than it should be.

It is because there are different units used.

1 Byte = 8 Bits so 350 Kilobytes = 8x350 = 2 800 Kilobits.

There is more theory about it but I was trying to make it as simple as possible.

Please notice this speed is theoretical and comunication is taking some speed itself

As well servers on the internet sometimes allow only for example 50kB download speed per user/file.
